Parts Of Abacus
All Four sides on the outer part of the abacus are called the Frame.
Abacus has a total of 17 rods with 5 Beads each.
The Horizontal Bar separates the beads in each rod into lower and upper parts and are called as Beam or reckoning bar.
The Beads below the Horizontal Bar is called the Lower Beads or Earth Beads. There are 4 Beads in the Lower Part.
The Beads above the Horizontal Bar is called the Upper Beads or Heaven Beads. There is a single bead in the upper part.
The Dots on the Horizontal Bar is the reference points to start calculation and called as House Points.
